As the hype for the upcoming College Football season ramps up, Georgia Bulldogs fans have a lot to look forward to. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach just dropped his way-too-early 2026 All-American list, and—no surprise—Georgia’s got some serious representation.

This kind of recognition says a lot about the Bulldogs’ talent pipeline and the effort these athletes put in. Let’s take a closer look at which Dawgs made the cut and why they’re getting so much attention.

Georgia’s First-Team All-American: KJ Bolden

At the top is safety KJ Bolden, Georgia’s only first-team selection. Bolden’s been a rock in the secondary, especially last season when injuries hit hard.

His numbers pretty much speak for themselves:

  • 76 tackles
  • 2.5 tackles for loss
  • Five pass breakups
  • Two interceptions

He’s also solid against the run, with 135 tackles across his first two years. In 2025, Bolden started all 14 games and landed on the SEC Coaches All-SEC Second Team.

  • 76 tackles (second on the team)
  • 2.5 tackles for loss
  • Two interceptions
  • Seven pass defenses
  • One fumble recovery
  • One blocked kick

Back in 2024, he played every game, started twice, and ended up fifth on the team with 59 tackles. He also chipped in with:

  • Two tackles for loss
  • One interception
  • One sack
  • One forced fumble

Offensive Standouts: Dontrell Glover and Drew Bobo

On offense, two Bulldogs got nods: guard Dontrell Glover and center Drew Bobo.

Dontrell Glover

Glover arrived over the summer and wasted no time making an impression. He played 14 snaps in the opener against Marshall, then grabbed the starting right guard spot by Week 3 versus Tennessee.

  • Freshman All-SEC Team honors
  • 2025 FWAA Freshman All-America Team honors

Drew Bobo

Bobo started 11 games last season, logging 721 snaps. He earned a 73.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, which is nothing to sneeze at.

He’s turned into a key anchor on the offensive line.

Defensive Contenders: Elijah Griffin, Raylen Wilson, and Ellis Robinson IV

On defense, three more Dawgs were in the mix: defensive tackle Elijah Griffin, linebacker Raylen Wilson, and cornerback Ellis Robinson IV.

Elijah Griffin

Griffin came in as a 5-star recruit and, honestly, lived up to the billing. In 2025, he posted:

  • 22 tackles
  • 13 quarterback pressures
  • 2.5 tackles for loss
  • One sack
  • One pass breakup

He landed on the 2025 FWAA Freshman All-America Team, which is a nice feather in the cap.

Raylen Wilson

Wilson started every game last season, finishing third on the team with 74 tackles. He also added:

  • 6.5 tackles for loss
  • 2.5 sacks
  • One pass breakup

Ellis Robinson IV

Robinson started 12 games in 2025 and led the team with four interceptions, tying for the SEC lead. His stat line also included:

  • 20 tackles
  • Seven pass breakups
  • A shared tackle for loss

He picked up the FWAA Freshman Defensive Player of the Year award—the first Georgia player ever to do it. Not bad at all.

Second-Team Selections: Oscar Delp and C.J. Allen

Georgia also saw two players snag second-team spots: tight end Oscar Delp and linebacker C.J. Allen.

Oscar Delp

Delp suited up for all 14 games this season, starting 10. He put up:

  • 21 receptions
  • 248 receiving yards
  • Four touchdowns (tied for second-most on the team)

Tight ends coach Todd Hartley couldn’t help but point out Delp’s growth, especially in leadership and physicality. He’s also become a more reliable target.

C.J. Allen

Allen, a junior linebacker, played every game and started 12. His numbers:

  • 76 tackles (second on the team)
  • Three tackles for loss
  • One interception
  • Five pass breakups

The Future: Marcus Fakatou and Beyond

Looking ahead, elite defensive lineman Marcus Fakatou stands out as probably the most coveted prospect on the West Coast. Ten teams—Georgia among them—are eyeing the talented defender from Orange (Calif.) Lutheran.

Spring visits are coming up. The Bulldogs, no doubt, want to lock in his commitment.

With players like KJ Bolden, Dontrell Glover, Drew Bobo, Elijah Griffin, Raylen Wilson, Ellis Robinson IV, Oscar Delp, and C.J. Allen, Georgia’s future feels pretty loaded. If you’re curious for more, check out the full article on 247Sports.
