The final Transfer Portal Rankings for 2026 just dropped from 247Sports. Purdue didn’t land any transfer additions in the Top247, but a handful of Boilermakers got updated ratings.
These changes reflect projected production, NFL Draft potential, competition level, and when a player might hit their peak. Let’s dig into how some key Purdue players fared, and what their past and future might look like.
Transfer Portal Rankings and NFL Draft Insights
The 2026 Transfer Portal Rankings turned up some interesting bits, especially for the NFL Draft crowd. In the last NFL Draft, 57 transfers from the 2025 portal cycle got picked.
Of those, 45 held a rating of 87 or higher, and 32 had a grade of 90 or better. Only three drafted players had a grade below 86, which is wild.
Five transfers even went in the first round, and 22 were top-100 picks overall. There’s a real connection between transfer portal grades and draft stock, it seems.
Impact of Transfer Rankings on Purdue Players
So, how did Purdue’s newest faces stack up in these fresh rankings?
Jojo Hayden, LB
Previous rating: 87
New rating: 88 (+1 Spot)
Jojo Hayden came over from Illinois and got a slight bump in the final 247Sports Transfer Rankings. He’s expected to jump in right away for the Boilermakers, likely teaming up with the returning Charles Correa.
At Illinois, Hayden redshirted in 2023, then saw the field in 21 games. He racked up 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery. His best stretch was in 2025, when he played 11 games and posted 26 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, and another fumble recovery.
Jaden Mangham, S
Previous rating: 87
New rating: 88 (+1 Spot)
Jaden Mangham, another Big Ten pickup, transferred in from Michigan. He’s expected to provide an instant boost to Purdue’s secondary, which, let’s be honest, needed some help.
He started out at Michigan State, playing 20 games with 12 starts at safety. Mangham tallied 73 tackles, four interceptions, and seven pass breakups. He even snagged an All Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2023.
In 2024, he only played one game at Michigan because of injury. But he bounced back in 2025, appearing in all 13 games, earning four starts, and collecting 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two pass breakups.
Boaz Stanley, OL
Previous rating: 88
New rating: 87 (-1 Spot)
Boaz Stanley joined from South Carolina to help fix Purdue’s offensive line, which struggled in 2025 and lost some key players. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman played all 12 games for the Gamecocks last season, starting nine times at center.
He started out at Georgia Military College, then spent two years at Troy, where he started every game in 2024—seven at center, five at right guard. Stanley allowed just two sacks over 406 passing snaps and didn’t get flagged for a penalty all year. That’s not too shabby.
Fame Ijeboi, RB
Previous rating: 85
New rating: 86 (+1 Spot)
Fame Ijeboi transferred from Minnesota and could end up as Purdue’s top running back in 2026. As a freshman, he ran for 441 yards (4.6 yards per carry) and two touchdowns, plus caught 12 passes for 51 yards.
He stepped up when Darius Taylor and A.J. Turner got hurt earlier in the season, showing he can handle a bigger role if needed.
Purdue’s 2027 Recruiting Class
Purdue just landed a huge commitment for their 2027 recruiting class: five-star center Isaiah Hill. According to the 247Sports Composite, he’s the top-rated pledge in Purdue history.
Hill, an Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike standout, currently sits at No. 15 nationally. He opened up about his decision to join the Boilermakers in a chat with 247Sports’ Dushawn London.
