The Times-Union just dropped its annual All-FCS team for 2025, shining a light on the top college football players in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) from high schools in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

This season felt especially big for Jacksonville-area players, with the offensive line really stealing the show. FCS All-American Mike Bartilucci and Campbell Trophy finalist Chandler Kirton both put on some serious performances.

The offensive lineup this year had a handful of players who really left their mark.

Quarterbacks and Running Backs

One quarterback played just two games but made them count, completing 19 of 42 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Player B: Finished with 46 receptions for 653 yards and seven touchdowns, picking up honorable mention All-OVC/Big South honors.
  • Player C: Led the Bulldogs in receptions, catching 46 passes for 483 yards and two touchdowns over 12 games.
  • Player D: Grabbed 22 passes for 462 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.

Offensive Linemen

The offensive line was stacked this season, with several guys making a difference:

  • Player E: Played 12 games at both tackle and guard. Might be a graduate transfer soon.
  • Player F: Took home the SoCon Jacobs Blocking Award, started all 12 games, and was named an AFCA All-American.
  • Player G: Became Austin Peay’s first NFF National Scholar-Athlete and Campbell Trophy finalist, starting every game.
  • Player H: Started all 12 games at center and guard, earning second-team All-SoCon.
  • Player I: Versatile lineman who played in 12 games and got honorable mention All-PFL.

  • Player K: Made 18 of 24 field goals and punted 41 times for a 41.2 average, earning first-team All-MEAC.

Defensive Linemen and Linebackers

The D-line and linebackers were crucial for their teams:

  • Player M: Ended up with 34 tackles (five for loss) and 2.5 sacks in 11 games.
  • Player N: Played all 14 games, notched 27 tackles (4.5 for loss), three sacks, and an interception for the FCS semifinalists.
  • Player O: Made 30 tackles (3.5 for loss), had a sack and a forced fumble in 12 games, and landed on the SoCon All-Freshman team.
  • Player P: Tallied 30 tackles, seven for loss, 3.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and a safety in 12 games, earning second-team All-SoCon.
  • Player Q: Defensive captain with 77 tackles (4.5 for loss) and two interceptions in 12 games.
  • Player R: Played every game, racking up 76 tackles (8.5 for loss), 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.

Defensive Backs

The defensive backs really stood out this year:

  • Player S: Grabbed a team-high five interceptions and made 26 tackles in 12 games. He picked up first-team All-PFL honors.
  • Player T: Put up 41 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and broke up nine passes over 12 games. He landed on the second-team All-PFL list.
  • Player U: Made 37 tackles, broke up six passes, and snagged an interception in 12 games.
  • Player V: Recorded 64 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery, and five pass breakups in just 10 games.
  • Player W: Had 30 tackles and an interception in 11 games.
  • Player X: Tallied 44 tackles and 11 pass breakups in 10 games. He also piled up 293 yards on kickoff returns, averaging 22.5 per runback.
  • Player Y: Caught one pass for six yards in 11 games. He also gained 325 yards with a touchdown on kick returns and earned second-team UAC honors before heading to the transfer portal.
